 Weekend is finally here! For me this weekend is all about dressing effortlessly. So I have decided to wear a black top with a nice layered back. To add that edginess , I have clubbed it with a pair of high-waisted red shorts. Oh yes! whoever said 'When in doubt,wear red' is so true. Adding up the chunky golden bangle and bling heels completes my look perfectly.  This outfit sums up my weekend look by making it look effortless yet chic. So if you want to keep it plain yet stylish, this is your perfect fit! Happy Weekend To You All!

           Generally we all think that we do not have many options to wear in monsoon.But monsoon offers some bright colors, prints, free-flowing and over-sized outfits which perfectly blend with the season. As  I love experimenting ,I wanted the post to be slightly different this time. So here ,I am wearing a bright yellow colored over sized 'kurta' which gives a traditional feel. To give the 'kurta' a modern twist, I have used a printed scarf as a head gear. Adding up a golden hand-cuff, neck piece, sunglasses and a pair of gladiator shoes was just the mix for an urban look! I loved the idea of mixing traditional with modern  and that is why this is one of my favorite post! 

How to Make a Sweater look Trendy. One of the best way to make a sweater look unusual is teaming it up with a nice pair of plain black shorts. For a cinched waist, a pair of high-waisted shorts would be just perfect. A plain sweater would be ideal for highlighting it. Here, I am wearing a pair of knee length leather boots to make it look casual yet edgy! I have also accessorized minimal to suit the look. A ring or two would be good.  Putting on a white or holographic shade of nail color would complete the look! Also printed sweaters can be teamed up with a pair of sporty shoes or loafers. THE VACAY JOURNAL LOOK 1 My recent shopping experience in USA has been a great one. Right from shopping on the streets of NYC to big malls and premium outlets. I enjoyed everything. New York being one of the top fashion destination in the world inspired me by its lifestyle, fashion, people and trends. Almost everyone over there is stylish.  So moving on , my favorite shopping stop was in the stores of 'Aeropostale'. I literally went crazy after seeing the stuff there. The store had everything from clothes,shoes to bags and accessories.  The black and white printed skirt which I am wearing above is one of the things I bought from 'Aeropostale'. I teamed that up with a white laced crop top and a black netted cape. My love for pink never fades and so I added a little pop to the outfit by wearing a pink bauble neck piece which I got from Colaba a while ago.

PALAZZY PALAZZO! Palazzo pants are on my list of favorites this summer.Honestly a while back I wasn't even sure about buying them. Being a short person, I thought they wouldn't look good on me. But I always found them quite appealing. Some days later,when I went shopping, I caught my eyes on a pair of plain black palazzo pants and finally decided to buy them. All I thought was of experimenting!  A pastel crop top was the best way for workin' these flowy pants. They are like an antidote for one of those lazy summer days when you want to free yourself from skin tight denims and just feel comfy!  I think its the edgy appearance what makes the palazzo pants a must have this summer.Other than crop tops, palazzo pants can also be paired with tank tops and casual tees for a quirky look.

  BEAT THE HEAT ! ! !   It was one of the rare moments when I had to style an outfit for the beautiful reindeer neck accessory.  U sually it's the other way round, first the dressing up and then the accessorizing part. This neck-piece from the Trinket Square was a birthday present to me and it was delivered in a pretty box. That's how i came to know about the Trinket Square.  When I later checked their website, I found the collection very impressive as every piece was something different!  Coming to the styling part, I couldn't think of a better way than a plain white camisole and a cool pair of blue printer trousers for showcasing the neck-piece.  I guess the white and blue combo never fails to impress!  I also believe that summers call for some effortless dressing up.  I would like to get better at my work with your feedback, so please feel free to drop your suggestions/comments right below!  ...
